If you’re involved in Project Management, you’ve probably been thinking of using all of your applied knowledge and converting it to a coveted PMP designation.  I have been involved with project management in one form or another for over 15 years and can honestly tell you that I would not have passed the exam using only my experience.   I have been able to correctly answer 50% of the question based on my “vast” project management expertise.    If you are serious about passing the exam, make sure that you prepare!

PMP Exam Prep Courses

There are a number of ways to prepare yourself for the exam.   Courses on preparation for the exam are provided through several different sources; local PMI chapters, Universities and Colleges, private training companies as well as corporation sponsored courses.  Usually this training would need to be done in ordination with plenty of reading.
